Welcome to LittleRedTalks Blog

Welcome to my first blog post

I have tried blogging many times before, and I always thought I needed to spend a lot of money to set up a page. It turns out that I could have just used Blogger all along, until I was confident enough to pay for the website. So, here we are again.

A bit of a back story. I am 30 years old, soon to be 31, and I live in Birmingham. I moved to England from Romania in 2020. I am currently working as an Employment Adviser and pursuing a master's degree in Organisational and Business Psychology.

I decided that my thirties are going to look different from my twenties. I think I can speak for a few millennials who feel that it's taking us longer to achieve anything in life because of past traumas, insufficient resources, and inflation that is suffocating us all. Every time I see new generations achieving things faster, climbing the career ladder, and gaining fame on social media, I can't help but feel left behind. But then I remember everything that I've been lucky enough to learn in my twenties, all the lessons, experiences and knowledge I now have to transform my life in my thirties.

At the end of the day, every generation faces similarities, where older generations may feel like they are missing out on certain things that we millennials have done differently. To that, everyone has their timeline, and you are exactly where you are supposed to be.

What can you expect from this blog?

I love sharing my thoughts through blogs, videos, and any other medium I can, as it also serves as a form of diary. I have many different thoughts in my mind, and often sharing them in a blog format is easier and more manageable than filming a video about them.

I can say safely that I have good experience with several different things in life, but I am also learning new things and figuring out what I want the next 50-60 years of my life to look like. I want to achieve great things, contribute to society and help people. I want to make the people around me happy, help my family and friends, and also live a better and more meaningful life.

This blog is for anyone, any age, any gender. It's for people who want to live a simple life, are tired of overconsumption, the hustle culture, and influencers selling everything, and for those who appreciate honesty from a very normal human being.

While I love using ChatGPT for everything, this is also a place where I would like to focus on sharing my own thoughts that are not filtered or edited. I do have Grammarly, which corrects my spelling mistakes and suggests rewriting some sentences; however, I wish this to sound as human as possible, without relying on AI.

Thank you for joining in, and I hope we can enjoy this journey together ☺️
